When you make an enquiry, enter into correspondence or book a stay at Quiet Cottage you will be asked for certain data, including email address, street address, phone number, etc., and you will be asked to give credit card details when booking. You may also be asked to join a mailing list or sign in to Mailchimp. The latter is fully compliant with GDPR. By entering into a booking transaction or expressing interest in Quiet Cottage you will be giving us permission to contact you from time to time with news, offers or information. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We may use Google analytics to calculate the effectiveness and efficiency of our website.

WHOM WE SHARE YOU DATA WITH
We do not share your data with any other organisation than Mailchimp, which does not share it with anyone else. Your name and details will never be shared with any other third party without your prior consent.

WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA
You can request all information provided to be updated or removed after your booking has expired. Email hello@quietcottage.co.uk

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
Your data is used to expedite your enquiry or booking until its expiry. It may also be shared with Mailchimp as above.

YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION
Your contact information is stored securely in the Mailchimp online database which can only be accessed by an accredited user of the company's account. This data can be update or deleted after the expiry of your booking by request. Your payment information is stored securely on Stripe which is fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council.

Your data is held in Mailchimp fully GDPR compliant system.
